Techik Showcases Seafood Inspection Solutions at the 26th China International Fisheries Expo

The 26th China International Fisheries Expo (Fisheries Expo) held from October 25th to 27th at the Qingdao was a resounding success. Techik, represented by Booth A30412 in Hall A3, presented its comprehensive online inspection and sorting solution for aquatic products, sparking discussions on the transformation of the seafood processing industry.

 Techik Showcases Seafood Inspe1

The exhibition’s opening day attracted a steady stream of professional visitors, and Techik, leveraging its rich experience in online inspection for initial and deep seafood processing, engaged in profound discussions with industry experts.

One of the major challenges in seafood processing is ensuring food safety by eliminating fine fishbones or spines that might remain in products like boneless fish fillets. Traditional manual inspection methods often fall short in detecting these spines, leading to potential food safety risks. Techik’s X-ray foreign object detection machine for fish bone addresses this issue. Equipped with a 4K high-definition display, it offers a clear view of dangerous spines in various fish, including cod and salmon. The machine adapts to the speed of de-boning personnel, allows for easy mode switching, and received high praise during live demonstrations.

In addition, the booth featured a high-definition intelligent conveyor belt visual sorting machine, which garnered the attention of numerous industry professionals. This equipment, built upon shape and color intelligent sorting, can efficiently replace manual labor in the detection and removal of minor foreign objects such as hair, feathers, fine paper pieces, thin strings, and insect remains, thereby tackling the persistent issue of “micro-contamination.”

The machine offers an optional IP65 protection level and features a quick-dismantling structure, ensuring ease of use and maintenance. It can be employed in various sorting scenarios, including fresh, frozen, freeze-dried seafood, as well as the processing of fried and baked products.

Moreover, the Techik booth showcased the dual-energy intelligent X-ray foreign object detection machine, which can be widely applied in aquatic products, prefabricated foods, and snack items. This equipment, supported by dual-energy high-speed high-definition TDI detectors and AI-driven algorithms, can perform shape and material detection, efficiently inspect complex products with stacking and uneven surfaces, and significantly improve the detection of low-density and sheet-like foreign objects.

For seafood processing companies with metal foreign object detection and online weight measurement requirements, Techik presented the metal detection and weight-check integration machine. Its integrated design effectively reduces installation space requirements and allows for quick integration into existing production facilities.

From raw material inspection to process monitoring and final product quality control, Techik’s application of multispectral, multi-energy, and multi-sensor technologies provides professional inspection equipment and solutions. These advancements contribute to the development of more efficient and automated production lines in the seafood industry.
